Pole for Peugeot as Gene masters the 'ring

For the third time in as many Le Mans Series races in 2007, Peugeot will start from the front row of the grid as Spaniard Marc Gene out-qualified his team-mate Pedro Lamy at the Nurburgring. The two Peugeots lapped faster than last year's pole position time, as did third-placed Stefan Mucke in the Charouz Lola, and Hayanari Shimoda, who was disapopinted to be fourth in his Zytek.
