Winning opening for the AF Corse Ferrari 458’s

SILVERSTONE, April 22nd – The European Le Mans Series (ELMS) 2014 opening race, the 4 Hours of Silverstone, was a triumph for the Ferrari 458's of AF Corse. Duncan Cameron, Matt Griffin and Michele Rugolo took home first place in the LMGTE category in their 458 Italia #55.

In the GTC category, the winner was the Ferrari #96 entered by Team Ukraine and managed by AF Corse, with the trio of Andriy Kruglyk, Sergii Chukanov and Alessandro Pier Guidi at the wheel.

In third position of the GTC, Jan Magnussen, John Laursen and Mikkel Mac for Formula Racing team in the Ferrari 458 Italia #60, also managed by AF Corse.

Great result at the season start also for the AT Racing Ferrari #56, managed by AF Corse: Alexander Talkanitsa, Alexander Talkanitsa Junior and Pierre Kaffer who were able to gain the fourth place in LMGTE.In the same category, sixth position for Piergiuseppe Perazzini, Marco Cioci and Micheal Lyons in the AF Corse Ferrari #54.

In the GTC, Mads Rasmussen and Dennis Lind (458 Italia #63) finished tenth; in twelfth and thirteenth position respectively were Adrien De Leener - Cedric Sbirrazzuoli in the Ferrari 458 Italia #95 and for Howard Blank-Yannick Mallegol-Jean Marc Bachelier in their AF Corse Ferrari #62.

AF Corse, 2011 champions of the ELMS, look forward to the next round of the European Le Mans Series which will be at Imola, May 18th.
