ELMS - 23/01/2017
G-Drive Racing, ELMS 2016 champions, received an invitation for the LMP2 class, as did United Autosports, the LMP3 European champions earning their place on the LMP2 grid as well.
In LMGTE, the Beechdean sponsored Aston Martin, ELMS 2016 champions, is invited in the 2017 Le Mans 24 Hours in the LMGTE Am class and will be joined by fellow British team JMW Motorsport after they took four wins last season to finish second in the European Le Mans Series LMGTE classification.
Each invitation will only be confirmed if the car in question is entered in one of the following championships in 2017: Asian Le Mans Series, European Le Mans Series and the IMSA WeatherTechSportsCar Championship.
The complete lists will be announced live from Le Mans on Thursday 2nd February at 16:00. As of now the media and fans can pose questions via the social networks using the hashtag #Endurance2017.
