Thiriet by TDS Racing changes car !

ELMS - 28/05/2014

During the off season the French Thiriet by TDS Racing team decided to change car constructor, from Oreca to Onroak Automotive. The team therefore started the 2014 ELMS season with a Morgan Nissan LMP2, winning the first round at Silverstone. With a fifth place in Imola the team is today leading the ELMS championship in the LMP2 category ahead of JOTA Sport.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans are rapidly approaching and the 2012 ELMS champions will once again change chassis to the brand new Ligier JS P2 to finally face the greatest endurance race in the world. The team will continue for the remainder of the ELMS season with that same car.

The team from the South of France is determined to recapture the title it lost in 2013 to Signatech Alpine.  For the time being, Thiriet by TDS Racing leads the championship with 35 points ahead of JOTA Sport (27) and Signatech Alpine (25).  As a reminder, following Le Mans, the next ELMS round will be in Austria for the 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring on July 19/20th.
