Thiriet by TDS Racing Leading in Italy after 2 Hours

No18 M.Racing – YMR Ligier or Thomas Laurent smoking from rear on opening lap.

Lap 3 – no41 Greaves Motorsport Ligier Memo Rojas clipped by no48 Murphy Prototypes Oreca of Garry Findlay and spun 180 degrees at Curva Tosa.  Rojas rejoins at back of field.  Findlay given black and white flag for causing incident.

Lap6 – LMP3 leader No3 United Autosports Ligier of Matt Bell runs wide at Tamburello as no41 Greaves Motorsport Ligier comes pass. This gift s LMP3 lead to Alex Brundle in the no2 United Autosports Ligier, Bell rejoins in second.

Lap8 no23 Panis Barthez Competition Ligier (Paul Loup Chatin) passes no46 Thiriet by TDS Racing Oreca for 2^nd.

Lap 9 LMP2 leader 21 Dragonspeed Oreca of Nicolas Lapierre forced onto grass while overtaking backmarkers on exit of Variante Alta. No55 AF Corse Ferrari of Duncan Cameron moved across.

Lap11 no12 Eurointernational Ligier of Roman Rusinov moves ahead of no11Marco Jacobini for 3^rd place.

Nico Lapierre pits in lead to hand over to Henrik Hedman in the no21 Dragonspeed Oreca.

Paul Loup Chatin takes lead in no23 Panis Barthez Competition Ligier from Pierre Thiriet in no46 TDS Racing Oreca.  At pitstops Chatin hands over to Fabian Barthez and Thiriet hands over to Ryo Hirikawa. Hirikawa takes lead.

Robert Renauer leads LMGTE for the first two hours before handing over to Wolf Henzler.  The no77 Porsche 911 was running in 17^th overall ahead of all but three of the LMP3 cars.

Roman Rusinov led the LMP3 class in the no12 Eurointernational Ligier before handing the car over to Andrea Dromedari.

Full Course Yellow with 2 hours and 9 minutes on the clock when no9 Graff Ligier spun off into gravel after contact with no48 Murphy Prototype Oreca of Patrick McClugham.  Five minutes before track went green again.
