The drivers meet their fans!

The many fans present at the Belgian circuit were able to meet the drivers in brilliant sunshine before the start of the Spa-Francorchamps 1000 kms.
Between 11h00 and 11h30, many spectators came to get autographs in the Spa paddock. The Audi, Peugeot and Boutsen Energy Racing pits were especially popular.
All the drivers joined in the spirit of things and signed autographs. “It's a real pleasure to see so many people. It's not always like that in Argentina,” commented Mattias Russo (Pecom Racing) seated at Giancarlo Fisichella's (AF Corse) table. “Of course they're here mainly for him, but still it's great that there are so many people in front of our pit!”
Augusto Farfus said the same thing. “It's very nice that so many spectators are coming to say hello to us. Spa is an incredible circuit. The sun's out and the ambience is fantastic. It's an ideal day for the crowd to enjoy themselves at the track.”
Nicolas Marroc, Hope Racing driver in Formula Le Mans is delighted with the popularity of the second race of the 2011 Le Mans Series. “It's very important that so many people have come to the track. There's no falloff in the interest for motor racing. It's nice to see that it's a very popular event. It's good for us drivers and for the organizers.”Actualités liées
