First round of the season. An 8 Hour race. A legendary track. A circuit re-opened to the public. A full program. Everything is combined for an exceptional meeting! Of course, everybody will look at the Endurance queens, Prototypes and GTs.
Almost 50 cars will be on the track to win the first race of the season and to outstand in front of the French spectators keen to discover the 2010 cars. The first Audi/Peugeot duel of the year, high level battles in each category, exceptional drivers with former Formula 1 stars such as Jean Alesi, Giancarlo Fisichella, Olivier Panis and Nigel Mansell!
Therefore, on April 10th and 11th, track will never be free! Public won't get bored as the entertainment will be great! No less than 3 support races will take place: The Ford Formula, The F3 Euro Series and the Classic Endurance Racing!
The Formula Ford: since its foundation in 1967, the Formula Ford allowed hundreds of engineers, technicians, and drivers to discover sports car racing and among them many had successful carreers. This amazing competition quickly became very popular worldwide during the 70's and 80's. Today, up to 14 countries run championships for 6,000 cars in the world.
The F3 Euro Series : In 2009, the Formula 3 Euro Series finished its 7th season. Going to Formula 1 stars such as Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Timo Glock and even Adrian Sutil, or in other championships like Paul Di Resta and Alexandre Prémat : all used this opportunity to rise to the highest level their carreers
The Classic Endurance Racing : Classic Endurance Racing is more than a show of some of the most beautiful endurance cars, it represents a strongly contested race by more than 50 competitors a season ! Prototypes and GT which took part in the famous endurance races between 1966 an 1979 meet again on the track, to bring us back to the most beautiful hours of the motorsport. Be assured that these beauties will not be there as figurant! They are as sharp as in their old days and their engine still humming.
