Dragonspeed Oreca Goes to the Top in FP1 at Spa

Olivier Pla was third fastest in the no40 Krohn Racing Ligier and Mathias Beche posted the 4^th best time of the 90 minute session in the championship leading no46 Thiriet by TDS Racing Oreca.  Championship challengers G Drive Racing could only manage 11^th quickest, with Giedo Van Der Garde setting a 2m10.957.

In LMP3 Championship leaders United Autosport was quicker than the rest of the 18 car field with Alex Brundle setting a 2m15.517 lap in the no2 Ligier-Nissan.   The no16 Panis Barthez Competition Ligier was second quickest with Simon Gachet posting a 2m16.128 lap, just 0.1 seconds ahead of the no18 M.Racing YMR entered car of Yann Ehrlacher.

In the LMGTE category the no56 AT Racing Ferrari 458 that was the quickest GT entry despite serving a five minute stop and go penalty for abusing track limits.  Alessandro Pier Guidi posted a lap of 2m19.130, 0.29 seconds ahead of the championship leading no66 JMW Motorsport Ferrari with Andrea Bertolini at the wheel, with the no77 Proton Competition Porsche of Wolf Henzler third quickest just 14 thousandths of a second behind the second placed Ferrari.
