MOTORSPORT QUESTIONS

1)  Whether in ELMS or not, how was your 2014 season?

It was a big step up for me as it was my first proper season of racing in the British GT series, the highlight being finishing 2nd on the podium at Spa.

2)  What did you do during the winter?

I've been doing a lot of cycling and a lot of simulator work, plus early season testing in various different cars.

3) What do you expect from the 2015 ELMS season?

I expect it'll be a massive learning experience for me and very exciting, and hopefully a lot of fun.

4) Quel est votre préféré et pourquoi? Do you know all the circuits on the 2015 schedule? Which one is your favourite?

I've only raced at Silverstone and tested at Paul Ricard, so all of the other circuits will be new to me. I think Silverstone - being a home venue - will be a great way to start the season.

5)  How do you prepare for a race weekend?

I try to get as much test time in the car as possible or experience the circuit. If that's not possible, I spend lots of time in the simulator to ensure I'm familiar with the circuit before I get there.

6) Do you have a special ritual before the race? If yes, what is it ?

I don't really have any rituals, but I make sure I get some quiet time to visualise the perfect lap and try to get myself into the right frame of mind to block out any distractions.

7) What are the strengths of your team?

The experience of the engineers and support team across the board. Many of the team have been involved in racing in ELMS and Le Mans 24 Hours and that will hopefully help me as a newcomer.

8)  What are the strengths of your co driver(s)?

Pace, speed, natural ability. Also he's easy to get on with and to learn from.

9)  What is the race you want to take part in the most? And why?

Le Mans 24 Hours. It's the single most iconic motor racing event in the world.

10) What has been your best result in motorsport? (which discipline, when, what circuit)

2nd place at Spa Francorchamps in British GT, August 2014
