Signatech-Alpine on Top in Le Castellet Test

The four hour morning session ended with the Signatech Alpine Nissan setting the fastest time of the two days, with Nelson Panciatici lapping the Paul Ricard circuit in 1m47.652, just over 0.4 seconds faster than the best time set yesterday by the Morand Racing Morgan-Judd and 1.9 seconds quicker than the second fastest time in this morning's session posted by the Jota Sport Zytek-Nissan.

The fastest LMPC car in the morning session was the nr47 Team Endurance Challenge Oreca with a lap of 1m53.783 and the fastest in the LMGTE class continued to be the nr52 Ram Racing Ferrari 458, shaving a further 0.6s off their best time from the Tuesday test sessions.

The final 3-hour session of the test ended with the nr1 Thiriet by TDS Racing Oreca Nissan of Pierre Thiriet and Jonathan Hirschi topping to time sheets with a 1m49.293, just ahead of the nr38 Jota Sport Zytek of Simon Dolan and Oliver Turvey.  The nr47 LMPC Team Endurance Challenge Oreca was quickest for the second time today with a 1m52.278, the fastest time of the weekend for the car and for the class.  The nr52 Ram Racing Ferrari decided to sit the final session in the garage so class honours went to the sister car of Gunnar Jeanette and Frank Montecalvo with a 1m59.709 lap, 1.5 seconds faster than the IMSA Performance Matmut Porsche.
