The second Free Practice session for the 4 Hours of Barcelona saw the cars start and finish after the sun had set over the Catalonian countryside.

The 90-minute session was topped by the no28 IDEC Sport Oreca with Paul Loup Chatin setting a 1m34.359 lap, only 0.1 seconds slower than the fastest time of the day set in FP1.

The no21 DragonSpeed Oreca of Ben Hanley was second fastest with a lap of 1m35.018, 0.6 seconds behind the IDEC Sport Oreca and 0.5 seconds ahead of the no43 RLR MSport Oreca in third place.

The LMP3 class was headed by the no19 M Racing Norma, with Yann Ehrlacher posting a 1m43.331 lap time, with the no11 Eurointernational Ligier in second and the no2 United Austosports Ligier finishing the session third fastest.

The LMGTE category saw the no55 Spirit of Race Ferrari F488 top the timing screen with Matt Griffin setting a 1m45.421, 0.079s ahead of the no51 Luzich Racing Ferrari, with the no83 Kessel Racing Ferrari in third spot.

Qualifying for the 4 Hours of Barcelona will begin at 10h40 tomorrow morning.
