Arjun, how did you feel after your first laps of the mythical track of Le Mans?
“It was a crazy experience for me, as Circuit de la Sarthe is really impressive and so is the atmosphere, even on the test day. Ever since I signed up to this programme with RLR MSport, I really could not wait to be part of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and now I’m finally here, it’s a great feeling. It took me a bit of time to get used to the circuit, but I feel quite confident with it now.”
What did you think of the track and what is your favourite part so far?
“I think the best part of the lap is definitely the Porsche Curves. The speed through there is crazy and you just feel this great adrenaline rush and a great amount of satisfaction when you get it right.”
How did the Test Day go?
“The test day went well. The main objective was to give John (Farano) and I as much mileage as possible, to familiarise ourselves with the circuit. We both improved a lot as the day went on and the car got better too. Norman (Nato) did a few laps during the afternoon to get a feel for the RLR MSport ORECA, he was comfortable and on the pace straight away, so it’s all looking positive. Grip was low and temperatures were quite high, and it will be interesting to see how the track changes on the race weekend.”
