ELMS - 07/10/2016
You are now third in the team Championship, what will be your main goal at Estoril?
We definitely want to improve our championship position. We had some bad luck in Spa that didn’t help but anything is possible at this point and one thing that I learned in racing is that nothing is over until the checkered flag!
Have you ever driven on the Estoril track? If no, how will you approach it? If yes, what do you think about it?
Yes, I have raced there a long time ago! I think it’s an amazing track and if I remember well it’s one of the few European tracks where there are no asphalts run off! So I’m happy that the last race is there because anything can happen.
What did you think of your first ELMS season?
ELMS is a very competitive Championship as there are a lot of very good drivers and the general level is really high. For me this year is the first one I raced in a prototype car and I had to change mentality coming from single seater. I can say now that is very good to be part of a team where everyone has to push in the same direction and where the team mates have to be really like a "one driver only". I really like the team spirit you have to build. Also the atmosphere in the paddock is very good and friendly.
Do you already have some plans for next year?
For next year I have nothing planed yet. I hope to stay with SMP racing because the team is great, I feel good with the guys and the car is competitive! Maybe another season in ELMS!
