We caught up with Colin Noble to ask the Scot what he thought about the ELMS and racing at the 4 Hours of Silverstone on Saturday 18 August.
What is the best thing for you as a British driver about racing at Silverstone?
“It’s great to have a race at Silverstone in the ELMS calendar, you really feel at home especially being part of the BRDC Rising Star programme.
What is your favourite corner or corners at Silverstone?
“My favourite section of track has to be Maggotts and Becketts as it is such a fast flowing sequence of corners.”
What are your thoughts on the competition in LMP3 this season?
“This year the LPM3 Class in ELMS is very tough with many experienced teams and good driver line ups. It’s very pleasing when we get it all to come together and we can fight at the front!”
What is the appeal of endurance racing to you as a racing driver?
“The appeal of endurance racing is that it’s a team effort. I really enjoy working with my teammates and race team to try and get the best possible result.”
What are you hoping to achieve at Silverstone, which is Round 4 of the 2018 European Le Mans Series?
“After having a very strong race at Red Bull Ring, we have our sights set high and will be aiming to try and get back on the podium!”
