ELMS - 22/02/2017
Q: You raced with Eurointernational in 2016. Do you think that returning to the ELMS with the same team in 2017 will give you an advantage?
Surely the first year with Eurointernational allowed me to tune in to all the staff (engineers, mechanics, etc.). Now I can say with certainty that we all get along well with each other and I think this is the basis for success.
Q: You won the 6 Hours of Rome in the Eurointernational Ligier JS P3 last November. Has that helped with your preparations for the 2017 season?
Winning helps you win, in all sports. Surely the victory in the Six Hours of Rome gave us the incentive to do even better and gave us the belief to be a competitive team
Q: What are your thoughts on the LMP3 class after your first season?
It’s a very interesting category. Beautiful cars with a charm of true endurance cars. And then the opportunity to approach the world of the 24 Hours of Le Mans ...... a dream!
Q: What are your goals for year two in the ELMS?
Last season we were always in the top 10. This year, along with the team, we will put all our energy to try to get in the top 5. It will not be easy because the opponents are very strong and aggressive, but we will endeavour to achieve this objective
Q: Of this six circuits on the ELMS calendar. which are you looking to racing on the most and why?
They are all very beautiful circuit and of great charm. I'm Italian so I should say Monza, but for me the most beautiful track to race at is Spa.
