Prospeed Competition in the starting-blocks

ELMS - 28/07/2011

The Prospeed Competition Team is a major actor in motor sports and many categories of European championships such as Le Mans Series and the FIA GT3. Next 30 and 31 July, the team will be in Belgium with a Porsche 911 GT3-R for the 24 Hours of Spa. A few days before the event, Team Manager Rudi Penders, gives us his impressions about the famous 24 Hour race and the team's season.

Thanks to past experiences, Prospeed Competition is going to Spa with unfailing motivation and only one aim: victory! All our “know how” will be put to test and we shall have to apply all our values to the letter if we want to attain the highest step of the podium. Efficiency, cohesion and rapidity will be the keys to success this upcoming week-end. With two cars in two categories: Pro and Pro/Am, Prospeed Competition intents to put its name on the race's prize list following the example of Porsche and their six victories at the 24 Hours of Spa.

Verdict on July 31st after the 24 Hour race and an appointment is already made for the last but one Le Mans Series round at Silverstone on 9, 10 and 10 September. A few weeks before the big final at Estoril, it is essential for the Belgian team, fifth in the LM GTE Pro classification, to gain more points if they want to climb on the podium.
