ELMS - 19/08/2016
What did you do during the summer break?
After the Red Bull Ring I was lucky to go to Road America in August, a race that is part of the IMSA WeatherTech SportCar Championship. IMSA announced during this event that the LMP3 will take part in their championship in 2017. This is good news to improve this class that already met a great deal of success in ELMS this season.
Then I went to Canada to explore Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and some national parks. It was a great and relaxing trip!
The next round is in France, how do you feel about racing at home?
I’m really excited. Most of my family comes from that region, so I want to do well for this round that will be “at home”. Moreover, the track is quite new and clean which is good, Le Castellet is a mythical track, full of history. I hope that we will have a good race with my dad, such as the one we had in the Red Bull Ring.
What is your main goal for the end of the season?
Our goal for the end of the season is the same as at the beginning of the year: to race in ELMS with my dad and our team Oak Racing, at the wheel of our car, the Ligier JSP3. We want to improve and have fun in the family, with our team and all the people that are taking part into the championship this year.
In 3 words, how could you describe the ELMS?
Professional, fair and beautiful!
