Olivier Pla : « All our rivals are a threat ! »

Olivier Pla, driver of the Quifel ASM Team's Zytek 09SC, reckons that it will be difficult for the former LM P2 car, which has moved up to the top category thanks to the new regulations, to hold its own against the other LM P1s driven by professionals.
Even so, since the
official test in March, the Portuguese squad has been on the pace often setting
the fastest times. Before qualifying, Pla, Miguel Amaral's team-mate, is
cautious but optimistic. “We'll see the true level of our rivals in qualifying
and above all in the race,' says the Frenchman. “So far the gaps are very small
and we're well placed. It's looking good for the rest of the weekend.”
But he's aware of the danger posed by the Pescarolo Team, Aston Martin Racing and Rebellion Racing. “All our rivals are a threat as they're professional squads with very good drivers. It's be a big challenge over six hours. We'll jump on every opportunity!”
