Olivier Panis / Courage Oreca n°6

The stewards of the meeting decided to exclude Olivier Panis from the race due to the fact that the French driver backed up in the pit lane and on the acceleration way.
In agreement with Hugues de Chaunac, Olivier decided to notify an appeal to the stewards of the meeting. For this reason, he will participate to the race on the wheel of the Courage Oreca n°6. However the team has in no case the right to show up at the podium, and the result of the car, which won't appear in the classification, will stay provisional until the decision of the German Court of Appeal.
