OAK RACING LEADS AT THE HALFWAY MARK!

Marroc was able to continue while Ayari had to pit to have the damage repaired and he rejoined seven laps behind the leader.

Up front Lahaye maintained a small gap to Hancock who soon came under threat from Baguette. On lap 60, the Belgian got past his British rival.  This put the two OAK Racing Morgans in the first two places overall.

When Lahaye pitted to hand over to Jacques Nicolet, Baguette went into the lead. The OAK Racing boss kept the car in third place for a long time until he lost several positions after a penalty for speeding in the pit lane.

Five minutes before half-distance Dolan went off in a big way losing his second place. This brought out the safety car and the gaps between the front-runners shrunk to almost nothing promising a thrilling second part to the race.
