Neel Jani: “It’s going to be very close!”

ELMS - 03/04/2011

Despite setting pole yesterday during qualifying for the Le Castellet 6 Hours, the Rebellion Racing driver is convinced that the first round of the 2011 Le Mans Series is going to be a hotly-contested one.

With only a few minutes to go to the start of the Le Castellet 6 Hours, Neel Jani is in a relaxed and open mood – and above all, confident! But he knows it's going to be a tough race. “There's not much between us,” says the Swiss. “I'll have to keep an eye on my sister car, no. 13, as well as the Pescarolo. Even though it's starting from the back of the gird, it'll be a dangerous rival. Its drivers are quick and they've set good times so far this weekend. Luckily, our car's running well and it's been reliable. I'm feeling even more confident since the Sebring 12 Hours as it was my first race with Rebellion Racing without mechanical problems.”
