The Balance of Performance for the LMGTE and GTC categories in the 2015 European Le Mans Series have been adjusted from the last set of BoP adjustments announced on 1st July. The changes announced on the 26 August will affect the Porsche 911 RSR and BMW Z4 in LMGTE and the Aston Martin Vantage and BMW Z4 in the GTC class.

The weight of the LMGTE class Porsche 911 will be 1235kg in Le Castellet this weekend, a 10kg increase in the weight the car ran at the Red Bull Ring.  The fuel tank capacity has increased by 6 litres to 108 litres up from 102 litres, a 1mm increase in the fuel rig restrictor (33mm to 34mm) and a 75mm adjustment in the height of the rear wing (-100mm to -25mm).  The rear wing of the Porsche is also 100mm further back.

The LMGTE spec BMW Z4 also receives a larger fuel tank capacity for the race in Le Castellet, 110litres up from 102litres it had in Austria.  The height of the Gurney flap on the rear wing has been reduced 10mm from 25mm to 15mm and the fuel rig restrictor diameter has been increased by 1.3mm from 33mm to 34.3mm.  The BMW Z4 also has a new bumper and front diffuser for round 4 of the ELMS.

In GTC the air restrictor diameter on the Aston Martin Vantage has been reset to 2 x 41.5mm after being reduced to 2 x 39mm for the race at the Red Bull Ring.

The GTC class BMW Z4 will be 10kg lighter than the weight it ran in Austria, 1280kg down to 1270kg at Le Castellet. The fuel rig restrictor diameter has also been increased from 25mm to 26.5mm.

There are no changes to the Balance of Performance for the LMGTE and GTC spec Ferrari 458 or to the BoP for the Lamborghini LP560-4.

The 4 Hours of Le Castellet will take place at the Circuit Paul Ricard on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September, which will be Round 4 of the 2015 European Le Mans Series.
