Mathias Beche: pole on his first LM P2 outing!

While Neel Jani set pole for the Le Castellet 6 Hours, another Swiss driver, Mathias Beche, made a big impact during qualifying. He set pole in LM P2 as he continues his successful career in endurance.
In 2010, Beche shone in Formula Le Mans and this year he has moved up a step in the Le Mans Series. He is now racing in LM P2 with TDS Racing, another debutant in the category.
The two have got their partnership off to a flying start with pole position for tomorrow's race. “I try to improve all the time, to move up the rungs of the ladder one by one,” smiles Mathias. “LM P2 is new to me. It's fantastic to kick off with a pole!
“Formula Le Mans was a great school to learn about overtaking so traffic won't be a problem for me, but it's going to be close tomorrow. The Oreca 03 has got a lot of built-in development potential, which we're just starting to take advantage of.”
