Marco Cioci aims for a victory in LMGTE in Imola

“I’m very excited to race in Imola, because this year the ELMS championship is very tough and Imola will be a super battle. For me it’s an important race. First because it’s the second race of the championship and also because it is my home track; I really love it. Fortunately I’ve done many races there but every time it’s a new experience, a new feeling; it’s never the same. Imola is hard to drive because you have to push very hard and every time you are doing a good job you have to stay focused for the next lap because it’s not an easy track. There will be a lot of traffic, so it will be a really tough race.
“One of my best memories in Imola is in ELMS when we got the podium in the last 2 laps against RAM Racing. It was a very nice battle, we passed each other two or three times a lap and it was not easy to do so many overtakes in the same lap. I hope to do the same this year and win as well!”
