France will be well represented in Le Castellet

Among the 40 entries in the 4 Hours of Le Castellet, 12 teams and 35 drivers will race under the French Tricolour, so the home nation will be well represented during the fourth round of the ELMS at the Circuit Paul Ricard this Sunday.

In the LMP2 class, Idec Sport Racing, Panis-Barthez Competition and Thiriet by TDS Racing will fight to take victory in their home race. Sixteen drivers, including LMP2 winner in the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans, Nicolas Lapierre, former World Cup hero Fabien Barthez and Inès Taittinger, one of the world’s leading female endurance race drivers, will take the start of the race in LMP2.

In the LMP3 class, there are 19 French drivers and 9 teams that will race at home. Concerning the drivers, fans will be able to spot on the starting grid David Hallyday at the wheel of the n°19 Duqueine Ligier JS P3 Nissan, rising sportscar star Thomas Laurent and the Nicolet family, with father Jacques and son Pierre in their n°24 Ligier.

The 4 Hours of Le Castellet will start on the 28th of August at 14:00.
