Thirty-five cars will grace the Silverstone grid for the first race of the 2017 European Le Mans Series proving once again that Europe’s leading endurance series is providing what the teams and drivers want – high class competition on some of the most prestigious circuits in Europe.

100 drivers from 27 teams will take the start of the 4 Hours of Silverstone representing 22 nationalities from all over the world.

At Silverstone six cars and nineteen drivers on the ELMS grid will be representing the UK, including the LMP3 and LMGTE champions that will start their title defence at home.

The race will start on April 15th at 14h30 with qualifying taking place on Friday 14th April from 14h05. Silverstone sets the scene for the 2017 ELMS season and the victors on Saturday afternoon will be the ones to watch for the rest of the season.

During this Easter weekend the fans will not only be able to see the opening round of the European Le Mans Series but also the first round of the 2017 season of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and some support races such as the World Series Formula V8 3.5 and the FIA F3.
