Salih Yoluc – TF Sport – Aston Martin Vantage n°90

Salih Yoluc will make his Le Mans debut at the wheel of the n°90 TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage alongside his ELMS teammate Euan Hankey and Rob Bell, who is joining them for the race. Salih Yoluc is the first ever Turkish driver to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, here are his impressions:

“I just arrived in Le Mans and I’m trying to deal with everything that happens. It’s been busy, it’s been good and it’s nice to see everyone here. I know it’s going to get a lot busier, so I’m excited about it.

It’s a privilege to be the first driver to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans but I would also like to be the first Turkish driver to win le Mans so that’s going to be the goal!”

Ben Hanley – Dragonspeed – Oreca 07 n°21

Ben Hanley, young British driver of the N°21 Dragonspeed Oreca 07 will make his debut in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This year he is competing for his second season in the ELMS alongside Henrik Hedman and Nicolas Lapierre.

“Le Mans is an historic race. The way everything works is very different from a normal race we are used to. It’s a new experience for me and I enjoyed it a lot. The week is long so the time you are not doing anything you have to really try to relax, not be too stressed about what’s coming.

The test day was really good, we did a lot of laps, the reliability was good so we learnt a lot. It’s definitely going to be interesting. The qualifying sessions with the traffic are going to be a hard, it will be a lot of work to get a clean lap. I think our aim for qualifying will be to do one clear lap but it’s going to be hard.”
