Le Mans: ELMS contenders leading the GTE Am class after 8 hours

After 8 hours of race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the GTE Am class is led by ELMS teams. In first position, the Ferrari F488 n°84 of JMW Motorsport driven by Will Stevens, followed by the TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage n°90 with Rob Bell at the wheel. In third position, we found the n°55 Ferrari of Spirit of race.

The last ELMS GTE Am entries still in the race is the n°99 Beechdean AMR Aston Martin Vantage that is standing at the 6th position of the class.

In LMP2 the ELMS cars are also doing well with three cars in the top 10 of the class and top 15 in the overall classification. First, there is the Oreca 07 n°40 of Graff driven by James Allen, followed by the n°32 United Autosports Ligier, which stand 7th in the class and 10th overall for their first Le Mans. The third ELMS car is the 21 Dragonspeed Oreca 07 with the young Ben Hanley at the wheel also rookie in Le Mans.

The ELMS cars are doing really good in the first part of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, managing the traffic and avoiding all the incidents that happened around the track. Still 17 hours to go…Keep pushing!
