As the chequered flag dropped for the third and final time the time set by Olivier Pla in no40 Krohn Racing Ligier JS P2 Nissan in the morning session was the quickest of the day. The Frenchman’s 1m48.100 lap was 0.197s faster than the best time of the afternoon session, set by Pierre Thiriet in the no46 Thiriet by TDS Racing Oreca 05 Nissan. The best time of the final two hour evening session 0.645s slower than the best time of the day with the no32 SMP Racing BR01-Nissan of Stefano Coletti posting a 1m48.745 lap.

The fastest of the 21 strong LMP3 entry was the no2 United Autosports Ligier JS P3-Nissan with Alex Brundle posting a 1m53.364 lap in the morning session, which wasn’t bested in the following two sessions. The no2 Ligier was also quickest in the afternoon, with the no10 Graff Ligier posting the best time in the evening session, with Sean Rayhall posting a 1m55.632.

The no51 AF Corse Ferrari of Marco Cioci posted the best time in LMGTE with the Italian lapping the 5.7km circuit in 1m57.304 also in the morning session. The JMW Motorsport Ferrari was quickest in the afternoon and the no51 finished the day on top once again as the chequered flag fell.
Day 2 of the ELMS Official Test will get underway at 09h00 for four hours, with the second session beginning at 14h00 and concluding at 17h00.
