Test day: Idec Sport second of the LMP2 class

The second session of the 24 Hours of Le Mans test day is now over and two ELMS competitors are in the top 3.

Idec Sport is in second position of the LMP2 field during this afternoon’s session. The French team realized a great performance with a lap in 3:27.252 set by Paul Loup Chatin just ahead of the n°26 G-Drive Racing Oreca 07 driven by Jean-Eric Vergne setting a time of 3:28.394.

In LMGTE Am, the n°99 Proton Competition Porsche 911 RSR is 5^th followed by the n°84 JMW F488 Ferrari. Finally, the n°80 Ebimotors Porsche driven by Christina Nielsen went out of the track in Arnage just before the end of the session.

The ELMS teams showed great performance today ahead of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

We will meet again all the competitors on Sunday 10^th June for the traditional scrutineering in the city centre of Le Mans.
