Hertz Car Sales driving Murphy Prototypes to success in 2014

Hertz International began its partnership with Murphy Prototypes in 2013 where the team put on a superb display in the Le Mans 24 Hour race finishing 13th overall and seventh in class. The highlight of their season was at the final round of the European Le Mans Series at the Circuit Paul Ricard in France where the team took their maiden victory in their Hertz-liveried #18 Oreca-Nissan LMP2 driven by Jonathan Hirschi and Brendon Hartley.

Hertz Car Sales will be branded on the tailfin of the Murphy Prototypes race car competing at 2014 European Le Mans Series and the Le Mans 24 Hours race. This 4.5 Litre Nissan powered race car has been one of the most successful prototype endurance racing cars produced in its class. Weighing just 900kg and running on Dunlop Tyres, Murphy Prototypes are confident they can win again in 2014 with this car. Hertz Car Sales branding will also be displayed on the Murphy Prototypes truck and mobile garage walls, and on all of the team wear.  The quality used car provider will also benefit from corporate hospitality and significant media exposure.  To spread the Le Mans excitement, the Murphy Prototypes team will showcase the stock race car on the Hertz Car Sales Spain stand at the Madrid Trade Fair on June 13th-22nd.   In 2014, Murphy Prototypes have their sights firmly set on winning the European Le Mans Series and the LMP2 class at the 24 Heures du Mans with the support of Hertz Car Sales.
