All Set for Qualifying at Estoril

The second and final Free Practice for the 4 Hours of Estoril saw the no21 Dragonspeed Oreca of Nico Lapierre post the fastest lap of the 90-minute session. The round 5 race winner posted a 1m35.671 towards the end of the wet session, moving ahead of the no38 G-Drive Gibson by 0.67 seconds.

The two Ligiers of no41 Greaves Motorsport and no40 Krohn Racing were 3^rd and 4^th fastest respectively, over 2 seconds behind Lapierre’s best time. The current championship leaders in the no46 Thiriet by TDS Racing were 7^th quickest overall.

In LMP3 the no3 United Autosports Ligier was fastest, setting the sixth best lap of the session with Wayne Boyd posting a 1m40.753 lap, 2.3 seconds ahead of the no2 United Autosports Ligier which was second fastest in class.

The no51 AF Corse Ferrari was the fastest of the LMGTE runners with Marco Cioci setting a 1m45.976 lap, 0.3 seconds ahead of the no99 Aston Martin Racing Vantage of Darren Turner. The championship leaders in the no66 JMW Motorsport Ferrari were 4^th fastest behind the no60 Formula Racing F458.

Qualifying for Round 6 of the 2016 European Le Mans Series, the 4 Hours of Estoril, will take place at 12h45.
