Hanley’s time was 0.2 seconds quicker than Richard Bradley in the no40 Graff Oreca-Gibson with the no32 United Autosports Ligier JSP217 of Filipe Albuquerque third fastest with a best time of 1m45.742.

United Autosports continued to lead the way in the LMP3 class with Wayne Boyd setting the fastest time in the no2 Ligier. The British driver’s time of 1m55.101 was 0.3 seconds ahead of the no16 Panis Barthez Competition Nissan powered car with Simon Gachet setting a 1m55.425 lap late in the session. Sean Rayhall was third fastest in the no3 United Autosports entry, 0.7 seconds behind his teammate.

Reigning champions Beechdean AMR were the quickest of the six LMGTE entries with Darren Turner setting a 2m00.517 lap, just three hundredths ahead of the no55 Ferrari of Matt Griffin and 0.2 up on the no77 Proton Competition Porsche of Matteo Cairoli.
The scene is now set for the first qualifying session of the 2017 European Le Mans Series later this afternoon with the LMGTEs on track at 14h05, followed by LMP3 at 14h23 and LMP2 at 14h40. You can watch the live streaming of the qualifying session on the official website.
