The 1m35.943 lap was 0.148s ahead of the no21 Dragonspeed Oreca which had set the fastest time of the weekend so far yesterday’s practice session and 0.3s ahead of the no29 TDS Racing Oreca.

The no19 M Racing-YMR Norma was the quickest of the 19 LMP3 cars with David Droux setting a 1m46.623 lap late in the session. The Norma finished the session 0.182 seconds ahead of the no9 AT Racing Ligier and 0.25s ahead of the no17 Ultimate Ligier.

The no55 Spirit of Race Ferrari of Matt Griffin was the fastest of the six LMGTE competitors with a 1m48.022 lap of Monza, with the no88 Proton Competition Porsche of Gianmaria Bruni second quickest with a 1m48.229.
The no66 JMW Motorsport Ferrari was third quickest with a 1m48.527 but the session ended at the midway point for the British team when Liam Griffin hit the barriers at turn 4 acusing a red flag to be shown to allow the car to be recovered. The JMW Motorsport mechanics now have a big job on their hands to get the car ready for this afternoons qualifying session.
Qualifying will begin at 13h40 this afternoon.
