ELMS progress report Halfway mark(3rd hour) Thiriet takes up the running

At the halfway mark Pierre Thiriet was in the lead in his Oreca 03-Nissan with Spaniard Lucas Ordonez 20 seconds behind in the Greaves Motorsport Zytek-Nissan. Nicolas Marroc who continued the good work done by Nicolas Minasian at the start of the race was third.
A few minutes after the third hour the Thiriet by TDS Racing Oreca pitted. The team refuelled the car and changed tyres and Beche rejoined in third place.
“Our stop was earlier than we'd planned. We've got a fuel problem that we don't understand. It's called into question all the work we've done so far,” explained Xavier Combet, the team manager.
In LM GTE Pro, Jaime Melo in the Ferrari F458 was still in front followed by Jonny Cocker in the JMW Motorsport F458 and Marc Goossens in the Prospeed Porsche.
