ELMS drivers this week-end at FIA WEC Final race

One of the most exciting battles in Brazil this weekend will involve 2014 ELMS LMGTE Champion Viktor Shaitar (SMP Racing Ferrari n°72) who will be at the wheel of the  n°37 SMP Racing ORECA03R in LMP2. Viktor will share his Oreca-Nissan with ELMS GTC Champion Anton Ladygin (SMP Racing Ferrai Italia GT3 n°73) and Kirill Ladygin (SMP Racing Ferrai GT3 n°71).  The n°37 SMP Racing LMP2 prototype will be starting the race from third in the LMP2 class, with Zlobin fourth. 

Zlobin could take the title this weekend but with a nine point deficit to the G-Drive Racing entered Ligier-Nissan, he will have to count on help from other LMP2 cars or misfortune for the current title leaders. It will be an intense battle between Zlobin, his team mates Nicolas Minassian and Maurizio Mediani ( who was also entered in GTC at Red Bull Ring, Paul Ricard and Estoril with SMP Ferrari GTC n°57) at the wheel of n°27 LMP2 and the G-Drive Ligier JSP2 (Olivier Pla, Roman Rusinov and Julien Canal). 

Other drivers that have been sharing GTEs and GTCs in the ELMs this year will be on track for the FIA WEC 6 Hours of São Paulo. Matthieu Vaxivière (who raced in GTC at Red Bull Ring with Porsche GT3 R n°93 - Pro GT by Almeras) his team mates here in Brazil -  Emmanuel Collard and François Perrodo (AF Corse F458 Italia LMGTE n°70 all season) as well as Richard Lietz (raced at Red Bull Ring event with Porsche 911 GT3 RSR n°77 - Proton Compeition) will all be racing this weekend.
