Eighteen Ferraris at Imola

ELMS - 17/05/2014

The full name of the circuit at Imola is the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari di Imola and it is very appropriate that almost half of the grid for Round 2 of the 2014 European Le Mans Series, the 4 Hours of Imola, is for the Ferrari 458 Italia.
Of the 37 car grid there are 18 458s across seven different teams with nine cars in the LMGTE class and a further nine in GTC.

Italian team AF Corse is running no less than seven cars, three in LMGTE and a further four in GTC.

2013 GTC Champions SMP Racing have four cars, with the Russian team running one in LMGTE and three in GTC.

French outfit Team Sofrev-ASP are running one car in each of the two classes , with Swiss team Kessel Racing  running two cars in the LMGTE class.

There are a further three single car entries, two in LMGTE for Austrian team AT Racing and British team JMW Motorsport, with Danish team Formula Racing in GTC.

The first Free Practice session begins at 10:15 this morning, with live timing available on the official website HERE
