Dragonspeed on Top in Free Practice 1

Nicolas Lapierre set the fastest time of the session, lapping the 4.3km circuit in a time of 1m20.588 in the Oreca 07-Gibson.  Nicolas Minassian was second quickest in the Dragonspeed run G-Drive Racing Oreca, just 0.277s behind the lead car.  The top seven cars were all within one second of the fastest lap.

The no10 Oregon Team Norma-Nissan was the quickest of the 17 LMP3 competitors with Dario Capitanio posting a 1m26.376, 0.3 seconds ahead the no3 United Autosports Ligier of Wayne Boyd and 0.6 ahead of the AT Racing Ligier.

The no77 Proton Competition Porsche 911 was the fastest in LMGTE with Matteo Cairoli setting a time of 1m29.728, just 0.025s ahead of the no90 TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage of Nicki Thiim.  The no51 Spirit of Race Ferrari of Andrea Bertolini was third quickest with a 1m29.815 despite a 10 minute stop and go penalty for Giorgio Roda for abusing track limits at T9.  All six cars in the LMGTE class were covered by 0.5 seconds at the end of the 90 minute practice session.
