ELMS - 19/07/2018 - Press release - Cetilar Villorba Corse

After an incredible 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Italian team heads to Austria for the 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring.

After their incredible recovery at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Cetilar Villorba Corse is back to the 2018 European Le Mans Series for the third round of the season to be held at Red Bull Ring, Austria, from July 20 to 22. The Italian team led by Raimondo Amadio will line up the #47 Dallara P217 of the LMP2 class for the Italian Roberto Lacorte and Giorgio Sernagiotto and the Brazilian former F1 driver Felipe Nasr. The Red Bull Ring track nestled in the Styrian Alps in Austria is the shortest of the 2018 ELMS: 4.318 km with 10 turns. Forty-two cars, 114 drivers and 33 teams representing 26 nations from all over the world will take part in the 4 Hours of the Red Bull Ring, that will take place on Sunday July 22, at 12:00.

Team Principal Amadio says: “After our crazy adventure at Le Mans we are back to the 2018 ELMS on a racing circuit that, at least on paper, is positive to us. We hope that it will bring us good results, also thinking about last year's race, when, before an unfortunate contact, we had constantly fought for the main positions. The championship is still long and demanding with four events to go. We are going to give our best in trying to grab a podium before the end of the season”.
