ELMS - 10/06/2013
Team Release
Test day at Le Mans: the first step taken : 10 laps completed by each of the BOUTSEN GINION drivers, at the wheel of the LMP2 number 40 !
Rule n°1 for rookie drivers for Le Mans test day: to complete a minimum of 10 laps.
Difficult weather conditions, as it is in the rain that the day started.
Three red flags and many off the track. Never mind, our three rookies, the french driver , Thomas Dagoneau, and the 2 american drivers Rodin Younessi, and Matt Downs, were able to make their 10 mandatory laps and can therefore take part in qualifying for Le Mans 24 Hours.
Bastien Brière, also participated in this test day in our LMP2.
Next Steps: Sunday, June 16, with scrutineering, and presentation of the car and drivers, on the Place de la République.
Wednesday, June 19: first free practices and qualifying night practices.
