The Porsche 911 RSR (991) has received an additional 20kg of ballast over the weight it ran in the last round at Le Castellet in September.
In the last Balance of Performance change in August the Proton Competition and Gulf Racing UK Porsche’s were given a weight of 1235kg, 10 kg under the cars set weight of 1245kg. In the latest BoP update the two Porsches will now run at 1255kg, 20kg up on what the cars ran in France and 10kg over the base weight limit.
Aston Martin coming back this year in LMGTE for the final round of the ELMS season, the BOP table is completed with performance adjustment values of this car that are the same as last year except for the fuel tank capacity of 110 litres, 20 litres over the standard limit of 90 litres. The Aston Martin also receives a wider fuel rig restrictor which will be 34.3mm, 1.3mm wider than the standard diameter of 33mm. This Aston Martin will be one of Aston Martin Racing, driven by the newly crowned British Champions Andrew Howard and Jonny Adam.
The LMP3 competitors are also affected by the latest changes with the fuel tank capacity of the cars being set to 85 litres.
The 4 Hours of Estoril is the fifth round of the five race 2015 European Le Mans Series and will take place in Portugal on the 18th October.
