The n°26 G-Drive Racing Oreca won the LMP2 class of the 86th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. After leading all the race, Roman Rusinov, Jean-Eric Vergne and Andrea Pizzitola took the chequered flag first. It is followed by Graff SO24 in third and the n°32 United Autosports Ligier in 5th.
After being second for almost 15 hours, the n°23 Panis Barthez Competition Ligier suffered a clutch problem and lost time in the pits. The car finally rejoined the track and finished 15th. At the final stage of the race, Idec Sport had some mechanical problems and was forced to retire only a few hours before the end of the race.
Concerning the LMGTE AM, the three ELMS competitors are 32nd (n°99 Proton Competition), 33rd (JMW Motorsport) and 34th (Ebimotors).
The 13 ELMS competitors showed great performance during the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The next stop for the European Le Mans Series is now the 4 Hours of the Red Bull Ring on the 21st and 22nd of July.
