In the LMP2 class, 11 cars that are taking part in the ELMS championship will take the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans on the 18th of June. After their victory last weekend in Imola, the second round of the ELMS, Thiriet by TDS Racing will be looking to maintain the same level of performance in order to finish on the LMP2 podium in Le Mans with the same driver line up of Pierre Thiriet, Mathias Beche and Ryo Hirakawa.
The 24 Hours of Le Mans will also be a ‘dream come true’ for Sir Chris Hoy who will race in the Algarve Pro Racing Ligier #25. After two races at Silverstone and Imola, the multiple Olympic champion is now ready to race on the famous track at Le Mans with Michael Munemann and Andrea Pizzitola.
After a win in Silverstone and a 2nd position in Imola, the current championship leaders in the #38 G-Drive Racing Gibson 015S will be looking to return to the top step of the podium as they did in the JOTA Sport colours at the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans.
